Amazon Favorites: March 2021

Albie Fact: I am terrible at budgeting... and even more than that, I am terrible at tracking expenses; and I am starting to realize that it’s not because I’m incapable, but because I don’t wanna actually know where the money’s going.

But who am I really fooling... we know that aside from bills & things, a large chunk of our coins is going to Amazon.

Now I’d love to tell you that we’re doing a lot of Amazon shopping because we just moved & bought a home, but that would only be a half truth. And the proof is in it the purchases — a lot of the items are def post move/first time homeowner, but there are a fair amount of “I want it so I buy it” purchases in there as well.

The month of March was a lighter shopping month, and def far more utilitarian — smaller, more everyday buys, but also fewer.

This isn’t to say there aren’t things I don’t need or want — you should see my save for later list! — but I decided to slow it down a bit for the month of March to give us some breathing room as the kitchen renovation finally started to pick back up.

Delays to the renovation also halted my shopping.

There are things that I know I will be buying, but without certain design elements in place, a lot of those purchases will have to wait... and needless to say, April and May are gonna be a doozy!

Looking back at this list of favorites, I definitely felt like I received a lot more boxes than what's reflected here. And I did... but not all were favorites and more importantly, not all were Amazon.

Can't wait to show y'all what I buy in April though!
