High Point Market Design Bloggers Tour

So this happened!

If you’ve been following me for any length of time then you know that last Spring I was fortunate enough to attend my very first High Point Market. I was invited to speak on a panel talking all about e-design! Then this past Fall I returned to market, hosting my own Mentor & Mingle Event, but never did I ever imagine that a year after my first market appearance, I’d be attending as part of the High Point Market Design Bloggers Spring 2019 Tour!

Presented by Esteem Media, the Design Bloggers Tour consists of 10 design bloggers — us — chosen to tour the sponsoring showrooms and share all the upcoming trends, collections, and launches with our readers — you!

My last two times going to High Point Market, I shared with you my finds and favs before but this time I’ll be getting more of an insider’s tour, with exclusive access to select showrooms for two days of interior design inspiration and goodness!

When I applied for the tour, to be perfectly honest, it was just because I can — it’s like playing the lotto and not actually expecting to win! When I received the “Congratulations…” email a few weeks ago, I actually thought someone was pranking me! High Point Market is basically Fashion Week for the home industry, so being chosen alongside these other amazing designers & bloggers is a huge honor that I didn’t really think I’d get!

Then I did!

And the best part — as if this needed to get any better — was finding out that one of my design besties, Niki McNeill, was also chosen. The real gag is that Niki and I met at my very first High Point Market so what a way to celebrate our friendship-versary, LOL. Who knows…by the end of the tour, I may be leaving market with another 8 new design besties!

Meet The Bloggers

High Point Market kicks off Saturday, April 6th and runs through the 10th, with the tour being the 7th and the 8th. That Sunday and Monday the ten of us will have a full day of checking out some of my favorite vendors and some that’ll be completely new to me. To follow along with everything, first of all, you’re going to want to follow along on Instagram & Facebook; but you can also follow the tags #HPMKT and #designbloggerstour to see everything we post throughout those few days.

Being that High Point Market isn’t open to the general public, this is gonna be a great way to see what we see as designers, bloggers, and members of the home industry — new product launches, upcoming trends, collections & collaborations, and all the pretty things!
