As a full time interiors content creator, y'all already know that means I get to work with brands I love to bring many of my home projects to life. I've said this before and I'll say it again - despite having access to trade only vendors for interior designers, in my own home I often prefer to design retail for the accessibility. This is also means I am able to share my sources & their retail costs with you, should you be planning a similar project of your own.

Sherwin Williams 2023 Color of the Year: Redend Point (SW 9081)

While this is the Sherwin Williams COTY for 2023, the timing is also perfect inspiration for the upcoming Autumn season. With it's subtle warm undertone, in addition to toe hygge inspired, Redend Point very on brand for Autumn while still being a color that's an unexpected neutral.

One Room Challenge Week 8: Reveal Day For The Hygge Ranch Flex Lounge

If you've been following along the past 7 weeks, then you know that this is actually a multipurpose area, aka The Flex Lounge... with it having flexibility in terms of its current function, flexibility to change over time as our lives change, and a total flex (as the kids say) because this room is straight from my "must be nice" Pinterest board.

Behind The Design: Our Laundry Room Reveal

Did you know that my plan for the laundry room was heavily inspired by what we'd originally planned to be the media room? It leads to the laundry room & was originally designed to be a lot of black on black, so I wanted to lighten it up a bit in the laundry room, while still carrying the darker hues into the space. But my do things change!

ORC Media Room Design Update

It's been a little over a month since we've fully moved into our new house & jumped right into some projects, including the media room.

Having already spent time ideating made getting started right out the gate super easy, but I was still — mostly — working off of a High Point Market specified design.

Did I love everything I chose for that design? DUH! But was all of it feasible? Nope.

Between cost, customizations, and availability, I quickly (mentally) processed all the substitutions I'd have to make to make this design come to life for us for real for real.

Rental Bathroom Refresh Update: Grey Paint & Gold Decor

I'm back in the bathroom!

In my last refresh update, I shared how I used stylish storage solutions, budget-friendly DIY, and creative design to transform my boring, beige bathroom into something more spa-like, tranquil, and Hygge inspired.

I felt great to see that transformation start to take shape but here's the thing:

THE BATHROOM WAS STILL BEIGE!

I was totally in love with the updates, especially considering how pragmatic & affordable they were, but I knew there was something I needed to tackle or I'd never be satisfied -- THE WALLS!
