Outdoor Space & Patio Refresh
The 2nd day of my social media hiatus, I went for a walk -- by the way, I love living in an area that is so full of nature! And I've been doing A LOT of walking since deciding to go social media free. Aside from just getting outside of the house, I get inspired for any potential outdoor projects, given this time of year. People start thinking about their decks & patios & yards & just overall, being outdoors. Low & behold, a few days after the aforementioned walk, I got the chance to work on a quick patio refresh!
The client was looking for help with layout and furniture selection for the outdoor patio; and hoping to incorporate an eating area, with some casual seating if possible.
Inspired by their Pinterest decorating board, I put together a design that was grounded in neutral & cool tones -- a classic look that will also be casual & inviting, and perfect for everyday family use or entertaining guests.
The design features mixed materials for a look that has character yet is cozy and purposeful. We have a tiled stone table top on a dark metal base, paired with metal framed swivel dining chairs. The flanking seating area options feature a wicker look, while the blue found in the seating area introduces color & breaks up the neutral palette. To continue to thread the colors throughout the design, the tablescaping features wicker chargers & a 16 piece blue dining set; with a 3 piece vase set at the center.
