What I Won't Be Doing On Youtube
Most people on YouTube who are into home decor & interior design (translation: my people) expect to see very specific content; so it stands to reason, as an interior stylist & designer, they're expecting to see that from me.
Please don't.
So what are the 5 things that most home decor enthusiasts are typically looking for on YouTube that I just won't do:
- Shopping Hauls
- Home Tours
- DIY
- Product Reviews
- Shop With Me Vlogs
I go into a pretty robust explanation as to why I won't do any of those things but it boils down to this -- I won't do anything that doesn't feel right with my spirit or authentic to who I am, whether it's trending or not.
It took a long time for me to find my voice in business, and I can say that me doing ANY of those 5 things, because they're not my jam, would immediately come off as sleazy and disingenuous. I'd rather not do something, then do it & suck at it, and lose my people.
