Amazon Favorites: 2022 Q1
You didn’t think 2022 wouldn’t have any Amazon favorites did you? Throwing myself completely into the Meridian Experience Weekend, I haven’t gotten a second to actually sit down and share my purchases with you… yet that hasn’t stopped me from making purchases lol
Starting the year…shopping is a lil bit of every and anything!
One of the things my husband and I committed to doing this year was being more mindful of our finances, specifically our spending. We signed up for You Need A Budget — that’s another blog post for another time, if you’re interested — and decided that instead of jumping right into some regimented financial routine, we would do what we normally do for a bit, then go back and look at our habits to access what to tweak & repeat. And in case you were wondering why we didn’t just use 2021 as a reference year — 2021 was our first full year in the new house so many of our transactions wouldn’t be the norm going forward.

I say all that to say, we started the year just buying things as we needed or wanted em… which is why you’ll find no general “theme” for my favs for the past 90 days — p.s.it’s the middle of March right now… I just don’t foresee any more fav purchases this month so why wait?.
With some business goals already in mind, my first purchases were tech!
I was long overdue for new lighting and a new tripod — for everything from Instagram Reels to Amazon Lives.
From there, the list runs the gambit — fashion items, items for the mini, household items… you name it. Some of it was, honestly, stuff we should’ve gotten last year… like new porch & backyard lights and, an upgraded air purifier & hand steamer. Like I said… a little bit of this… and a little bit of that.
No Amazon shopping is complete without some fashion pieces, however, I may get into the specifics of some of em when I talk about fashion ideas for the Meridian Experience. I’m not sure what the next few months of purchases will look like — whether they’ll increase, decrease, or stay the same — however, I’m glad to be back to sharing em with you!
