Amazon Favorites: December 2021
And that’s a wrap peeps! Twelve month of Amazon favorites! What a year of shopping lol. In case you’re new here — WELCOME btw! — this “series” was never intended to be a chronological recap of all my Amazon purchases; it just shows my FAVS of those purchases. Believe me when I say, we bought a lot more than what you’ve ever seen… but let’s move on…
With December being the first month of winter & the last month of the year, my purchases def reflected both transitions. I purchased items for the weather, as well as some feel good items for the season.
Last month I snagged matched pajamas for the entire family in buffalo plaid and after getting those pieces decided I also wanted matching New Year pajamas too! I started with a brand that I’m already familiar with — Amazon Essentials! Even the savviest Amazon shopper can sometimes forget that Amazon has its own brands, like Amazon Essentials & AmazonBasics. While I absolutely enjoy discovering new brands — especially small biz brands — to shop & support on Amazon, I take comfort in shopping the company’s own retail brands… in the same way that I buy the branded products from Target or my local supermarket. It’s usually a more affordable price point for comparable products. That said… I had a general idea of what I could expect from the matching Amazon Essentials pjs I picked out for us, paired with slippers with similar colarways.
With Christmas basically already here, there wasn’t much in the way of holiday shopping for me to do except pick up a last bit of supplies for custom tags & ornaments, and a lil something for us to enjoy on Christmas morning — a good read & some good tunes.
Maybe not as much as November, but December was def another month of Amazon fashions + lots of creature comforts, as we rounded out our first full year in the new house. It’s wild to think abuot but that’s a whole other conversation for a other blog post. Most of the apparel I picked up, were simply different colorways of items I’d picked up in earlier months, especially when it came to stocking up cold weather items… including pieces from Amazon Essentials & AmazonBasics, plus a new brand regular for me, EKOUAER.
By the time this goes up, I’m in the throes of deciding my December favorites, but I have to admit that most of my fav Amazon purchases for this year (in general) def happened in the month of November. Idk what it is about these purchases — maybe just this time of year — but every single item makes me smile so hard anytime I see/use em.
