Amazon Favorites: October 2021
As we transition from summer to fall to winter, it also means transitioning into school and holiday. It's a weird time when things overlap and it was definitely reflected in my shopping. I shopped for the mini as she continued into the school year. I shopped for myself as the season changed. I shopped for the house to prepare for the upcoming holidays.
During the month of October my purchases ran the gambit but there were some very clear reoccurring themes...
For the mini, I purchased more items for her school experience - clothes for the colder weather, additional reusable masks, and workbooks for her to practice different activities at home. I got items for myself - from loungewear to planner accessories - as well as some new rain boots for the hubs, especially for when he's working outside.
Rounding out my purchases were items for tablescaping and miscellaneous pieces that I'd been putting off in my "save for later" list.
The thing about shopping during this time of year is that I never want to overspend to leave room for holiday shopping - I can't/don't predict what decorations, gifts, and everything in between I may want to splurge on. FYI... if you're new here, I very seldom "budget" my home related shopping. When it comes to my holiday shopping on Amazon, I try to take advantage of any deals or promos that may be going on, and I just see where my feelings lead me. Because I am still fleshing out my holiday design ideas, I kept my October purchases pretty low key, only indulging in a few wants vs needs.
In case you missed it, I decided to dive in Amazon Livestreaming content to coincide with the Amazon content I create here on the blog. If you're more of a visual shopper - versus reading about what I bought - you'll wanna tune into my October Favorites Amazon Live. If you can't catch it live, no worries, because the replay will live on my Amazon storefront in addition to all my previous shopping livestreams.
