Amazon Favorites: November 2021
How is it it’s been 11 months of Amazon favorites already!? I feel like just yesterday I published my January 2021 favorites and in mere weeks it’ll already be January 2022!
So what did I buy in November?
Being that November is the unofficial kickoff to the holiday season, it should come as no surprise that my shopping involved holiday things! Knowing how popular certain things are this time of year, I wanted to get a jump on em before it was too late… like matching pajamas for the family for Christmas Day. In years passed — and yes, it took me like 6 years to learn this lesson — I would struggle to find us all “matching” or at least coordinating pajamas; and the years that were most successful always resulted in someone’s size being off because I was settling for whatever I could find.
Not. This. Year.
Last year, I did matching buffalo plaid pajamas for us and I really liked it because it’s something we could also keep wearing throughout the year without it being obviously seasonal. For my husband, I was unable to get the matching top, my daughter outgrew hers almost immediately, and mine tore in the wash. Translation: I was starting this year from scratch.
I started with a brand that I’m already familiar with — Ekouaer.
I was first introduced to the brand during the 2020 stay at home orders, as I was shopping for “daytime pajamas” lol. In the past 18 months, I have purchased pajamas, loungewear, and robes from them… with no quality issues. I was pleased as much to see that they had a buffalo plaid onesie for me. From there I knew I just had to find for the family. This year, I lucked out not only with familiar brands for the pajamas & a new favorite for matching slippers.
To round out my holiday shopping for the month — because it surprisingly wasn’t that much lol — were some decor items for the cafe… nothing too crazy especially since I planned on transitioning most of my fall decor into winter decor.
Aside from a few miscellaneous “housekeeping” items, the rest of my purchases went into apparel… specifically apparel for me. While I’m still home more than not, going out for school drop off & pick up has me outsiding more than usual for curbside pickups & other quick errands. While I could totes make something out of nothing with my capsule wardrobe of yesteryear, having gone through so many physical changes in the past year, I wanted to get a few inexpensive pieces that I could be comfortable in. This isn’t my first rodeo with purchasing from Amazon Fashion but I was pleasantly surprised by how well everything fit (and washed).
By the time this goes up, I’m in the throes of deciding my December favorites, but I have to admit that most of my fav Amazon purchases for this year (in general) def happened in the month of November. Idk what it is about these purchases — maybe just this time of year — but every single item makes me smile so hard anytime I see/use em.
